Donna has over 30 years of high level project management, software engineering and team building expertise. She is a tenure-track Computer Science Instructor at Kutztown University. In 2005, Donna Co-founded Viddler, a video-based training platform that enables engaging training delivery, skills coaching, and practice reinforcement. She also founded Lighthouse Solutions, Inc., which provided management and software engineering consulting to IT companies and biotech firms.

Donna is passionate about STEM education for middle school and post-secondary students. She volunteers with various STEM organizations mentoring students and making them aware of the multitude of STEM careers. Reach out to Donna for more info.

Along with Dr. Frye & Chris Brutschea, Donna started the Girls in CS Symposium, an annual event introducing female high school students to local companies with cool STEM careers.

During her career, Donna has provided management, software engineering and team building mentoring to Fortune 100 clients. As an instructor and consultant, she taught and mentored over 2,500 engineers, developers and managers. Donna worked with and guided clients in the analysis and design of their systems, the adoption of software methods, and building successful teams.

Donna has spoken at various technical conferences including LV AWS Users Group, Schools of the Future Conference, Steamfest, KU's CET Summer Teaching Conference, SHSMD, Digital Summit, Digital East, Internet Summit, ITEC, Software Developers Conference, and CASE World. Donna was the keynote speaker at the 2015 Valley Women’s Conference. Publications include CIO Review, Proceedings of the International Symposium on Engineered Software Systems, the Wall Street Journal Career Journal, Philly Tech Magazine, and International Recruitment News. Donna holds a Bachelor's and Master's in Computer Science.
